Ok so home today… So all dressings changed….. I took apic of my muscle done site….. The white bit in middle is a tendon…. And if u choose to look closely u can see the skin graft on top… It’s pretty mad really it’s now half of my young and looks like one…. Actually will put pic of tounge up too…. I think you will be amazed

Im a military wife and mother to 2 beautiful children D my little girl who is now 5 and K my boy is 10.. I was diagnosed with tongue cancer 13th Feb 2013. I needed a major operation, and radical radiotherapy. I have been am unable to eat since my surgery and am fed by a PEG tube. looks very sore, but not as bad as I was expecting – I’d go with the shark attack story!! 🙂 I have to admit, although really weird to think that is in your mouth, it is amazing what they can do to fix your body. Your tongue looks brilliant, from that pic you can hardly tell xx
